The universal modern error is that 'the Right' or 'the Left' are responsible for our present social disintegration.
Firstly, these blocs have no historical continuity & are very tricky to define. (E.g. Trump is way to the left of Harris on a long list of issues.)
Secondly, once we drop team loyalty & discuss facts we tend to roughly agree on most things. (Much social science on this.)...
Thirdly, this perceptual error of ours is confected by - & is very, very useful to - the 1%: the liberal & conservative billionaires, & their legislative marionettes, who are actually responsible for our social disintegration.
When we sideline elites, we'll also find that we have, for the most part, sidelined Left & Right.
