The Claremont Academy, located in the Bayview Heights area of Freedom City, is known as a school that welcomes students with incredible gifts or unusual powers. What is kept secret from the public is the fact that the headmaster - Duncan Summers - is also using this school to recruit and train the next generation of superheroes. To this end, he has created a special training ground known as the Doom Room deep in the sub-basement of one of buildings. You are among the students at the school who have been chosen to take part in a Doom Room trial, pitting your impressive powers against the randomized threats the room generates.
