When we start work on a new #AgentsOfGroove level we'll first set it up in the editor using placeholder art, to get a feel for the overall layout and composition, then we'll gradually fill it in with actual art. Here's an example of what that looks like in this before-and-still-WIP-after comparison.

@synapticsugar I’ve had my playdate for a minute but am finally considering developing for it. What engine are you using?
@andreelijah the "engine" for Agents of Groove is home brewed Lua code, it uses Panic's Lua Playdate SDK and the output of other homemade tools (like the level editor) that are instead written in Python!
