maple@tilvids Honestly I would be happy to say with decentralized protocols if you could know that you would see all of the posts on a particular topic immediately after they are posted, but you don't. Half the time, if someone starts posting a thread consisting of multiple parts (because they are on a crappy instance that only allows 500 character posts) you are lucky if you see any parts after the first.
With centralized protocols you know that you're probably going to see all the posts for something you have subscribed to, almost immediately after they are posted.
(And don't even get me started on the shortcomings of user interfaces in the decentralized world!!)
