Probably everyone has seen this, but this remains my favorite illustration from Wikipedia
@Miikka I actually haven't! Really cool find!

@Miikka My grandson is an avid consumer of this story.

@Miikka and the third law of holes: The only way to get rid of the hole is to dig a larger one and bury the first hole.
@Miikka Haven't seen it, but now can't unsee. For those intersted, the source is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_of_holes

@number137 @Miikka in my job as software consultant I do not only explain the usage of our software, but also provide some generic trainings from time to time. This could also be a terminology training: concept, term, usage, such stuff. It is also about how definitions help understanding the special vocabulary, and of course that pictures help understanding the definition.
For the next turn, I will use this picture as example, because "cat content rules".
Thank you for the inspiration.

@Miikka that's a great one, although I think this one has to be up there, too

@Miikka I had not, and it is now my favourite too. Thank you.

@Miikka @jwz My favorite is this (famous?) one from the "Scottish National Antarctic Expedition" article. Alas, the current text just says "Piper Gilbert Kerr alongside a penguin, March 1904", because we can't have nice things.

(The article Talk page has literally thousands of words of Wikipedians Wikipediaing over whether to allow it or not.)

@SnarkWasABoojum @Miikka Yeah, I also thought of that one, and I am utterly unsurprised to learn that the Wikipedia killjoys nuked it.
@Miikka hadn't seen yet. Perfect, thank you.
@eichkat3r Interessante Metapher auch in der Proktologe. 🤔

@Miikka Mine is on this page.

BTW, if you check the photo details, you'll find it's only used for that one article. Someone uploaded that photo to Wikipedia just to illustrate a stub that should arguably be on Wikitionary.
