Always wear a helmet when climbing, you never know when a sausage is going to fall from the sky!!
We were standing there at the bottom of the crag when there was a thud. A sausage had appeared on the ground. Where did it come from? Were the teenagers making a fire at the top of the cliff trying feed the uncs? Did a crow steal it from them and drop it? We don't know

since I see a lot of gloom re Astral x OpenAI:

⁃ Even if Astral actively (malice) or passively (neglect) ruins uv, Python packaging is 1000x better today than 2 yrs ago.
⁃ Ruff is nice but only nice to have—ty is barely usable. We'll be fine if they vanish today.
⁃ Channelling Buddhism: it’s OK when things change or go away! Expecting things to last forever is an unnecessary source of suffering. But, worst case is that we get the community-maintained pkg mgr you always wanted!

Chill, y’all 🧘

one of the more useful things I realized at some point for how to be a good code reviewer is "that's not how I'd do it" is not constructive feedback and is not a valid reason to request a change, and if you can't think of an actual good reason to block a review, you can save a lot of time for everybody involved by just chilling out about it
The existence of Field CTO as a title implies, on one hand, the existence of Track CTO, and on the other hand, the existence of Group CTO and Magma CTO

Want to work with me, @skade , @jyn , and a bunch of other fun folks?

Wrote about software I've made with coding agents. Some I've kept, some I've thrown away.

Software for myself

I've been creating small apps, tools, and toys for myself. Let's take a look

The presence of a well-tempered clavier implies the existence of claviers that are absolutely feral, barely able to contain their immense power, waiting for any excuse to burst out into the wildest ride you've ever heard
