TILvidsAnd this is exactly why I don't trust #Bluesky over #Mastodon. They don't even have a real foothold yet and they're already looking for monetization angles to enrich themselves.

tqwhite@tilvids @mastodonmigration I go for the principle that if you’re not paying, you are the product. I will pay for bsky immediately. I’d pay here though I seem to have more people engage with me there even though I spent the last year posting the same to both. I believe in paying for things I enjoy. It simply seems less selfish.

Or Googlle openly spying on your emails to target ads even if you pay them another subscription.
Same with bluesky, you will just go from being a product to being a profitable product. I mean you do you, I'm just warning that these people does not have the code of honor you want to follow, only profit.
