PhilIf anyone wondered, apparently the real point of a mummers play is that when you finish the last spot you’re guaranteed a seat.
(Rumour has it that besides the concertina the inhabitants of these tables had reached their limits and may have been on the verges of becoming tired and emotional - it wasn’t just us.)
