Here’s another Biden accomplishment that won’t get any news attention which is a significant reason why we’re here.

The final rule will save Americans more than 50 million hours in wasted time in a year and $11 billion in money over the next decade.

Good luck getting anything like this out of Trump, or your third party vote for whoever.

Federal Trade Commission Announces Bipartisan Rule Banning Junk Ticket and Hotel Fees

Federal Trade Commission

@TonyStark Yeah, but the traitorous, useless, old man just released the Kids for Cash judge, a bunch of dirty pigs that helped heroin traffickers, etc.

He shot us all in the back and I couldn't care less what he gets credit for positively anymore. He failed us all so massively and allowed a RAPIST to run for president and win.

@NosirrahSec I feel bad for you thinking any of that is correct information.
@TonyStark @NosirrahSec
So he didn’t pardon the Kids for Cash judge?

@Joe_Hill @TonyStark https://www.politico.com/news/2024/12/13/biden-clemency-judge-michael-conahan-000890

He absolutely did let the Kids For Cash judge out.
He absolutely did let a pig out of jail for assisting his half-brother, a heroin trafficker.

100% facts.

@Joe_Hill @TonyStark I fully expect this admin to completely tuck-tail and hide rather than read the news and realize he's ignorant to reality.

Imagine telling others that you're sad for them, but for citing an actual documented fact?

Sounds exactly like a right-wing psychopath to me:

Ignore reality.
Run from the truth when it's presented to you.
Pretend to be on some sort of high ground rather than correct your error.

@TonyStark I doubt shareholders are going to passively accept that revenues are reduced due to this new regulation. Mgmt will find other ways to generate revenue to replace cancelled fees. If mgmt fails to do this, shareholders will vote with their feet. That's the "shareholder value" ethic in action.

@patrascan That’s the same logic libertarians use to argue against safety regulations.

Over in reality, these things actually work.

@TonyStark I can't think of an example where government mandated fee reductions or charges resulted in permanently reduced revenue. Companies always seem to invent new service fees, new ways of generating income that comply with the new rules.
@patrascan Insulin got capped just this year. Have a great day.
@TonyStark @dibi58 Govt cap on insulin in 2025 is a good example. Analysts predict increase in monthly premiums for all Plan D drug plan members to make up for the shortfall. I already rec'd my notice of higher premium. Now all members will pick up the tab, so to speak, for cheaper insulin. Pharm Benefit Mgrs and insurers will not accept a loss if they can find revenue elsewhere

@patrascan

@TonyStark @dibi58
So you are assuming that your plan costing more is due mainly or solely to insulin cap?
Also Yeah, fuck it. We can't do shit, let's just throw our hands up in the air and give all our cash to the oligarchy.

@TonyStark
Not a word. Except when the next admin. "fixes" it.
