Q transitioning to #macOS #password app: exported from 1P, handcrafted 700 entries to fix CSV and missing values, for testing I picked some old entries, most of them not imported, because they seem to exist already - which I cannot find! Then added one entry manually and it complains entry exists, but it is nowhere to be found!
How can I find/clean/remove the null/broken existing entry? Upon CSV import, does Title, URL or username need to be unique (or what is "key" here)? maybe @rmondello
@rmondello as a developer seeing „(null)“ in an alert makes me nervous (even more so in context of passwords) and I can only imagine that a record in a list is broken aka it is neither visible nor editable nor can it be removed…

@rmondello csv export from Password does not reveal a broken entry either.

Phew. Half a day of handcrafting now on hold and it was meant as a test bed for my whole family to finally use stronger passwords - abrupt end to #xmastechsupport

@omich Passwords’ uniqueness constraint is that you can only have one saved item per fully-qualified domain and password pair. I’ve written up some advice I have about migrating here: https://rmondello.com/2024/09/19/consider-slowing-down-when-switching-password-managers/
