I am still seeing tons of articles in the mainstream media about how Democrats need to win back disaffected Trump voters. This is despite the data which clearly shows that Trump's vote did not increase significantly over 2020, but rather that Democratic voters voted in substantially smaller numbers.

I see no articles about how Democrats need to energize their base to vote, which is what the data indicates. The mainstream narrative is pure bullshit.

@dgoldsmith Democrats lost by campaigning to the empty middle of the political spectrum when we needed to move Left.

@gooba42 @dgoldsmith

It's not so complicated. Americans weren't ready for a Black Indian woman who campaigned 105 days for president. Let's face it, #Harris is not as charismatic as #Obama .

If we are still allowed to vote, Democrats will take the House and Senate in 2026 and the White House in 2028.

@Stinson_108 @gooba42 @dgoldsmith

> If we are still allowed to vote, Democrats will take the House and Senate in 2026 and the White House in 2028.

And if we have the last thirty years to judge, then proceed to do nothing so that the Republicans regain Congress in 2030 and the White House in 2032.

Obama ran as a progressive and governed as a centrist, and that's why Hillary Clinton's "more of the same" campaign lost. Biden ran as a progressive and governed as a centrist, and that's why Kamala Harris' "more of the same" campaign lost.

The Democrats would rather lose and support their billionaire owners instead of winning.

I pray to a god that I don't believe in that I'm wrong about this.

@firebreathingduck I've voted Dem since '74 and have pretty much been screwed over every time by do-nothing when elected candidates.
