1. It's story is fully developed but I still hide stuff to not spoil it.
2. It's over a decade in the making, thanks to my excessive Worldbuilding and was a Star Trek and a Mass Effect fanfiction.
3. I just recently added stuff like a second hand market for private ships in one of the prompts which gave Arkham a private shuttle she owns.

02.11.2024What are beauty standards like in your world? Do they affect your characters?

Scars, no ritual ones but it's commonly accepted that your body has a history & presence of scars is absolutely accepted. Same goes for modified eye colors, skin colors, hair colors. Only issue is with spacers, do to a weird mutation that runs across all know Species spacer have a slight greyish or pale purple discoloration & paler skin as an average person from that species with the same skin tone. For some this is a trait they do not appreciate.

It is perfectly normal for people to have prosthetics or not, or to drive around in a wheelchair if they don't whish to undergo treatment.

As an example a person with only one leg could opt for a bionic prosthetic, a "cloned" leg or to drive around in a wheelchair, some prefer walking aids & more eccentric person even opt for something weird like a three insect leg prosthetic or a wheel, it's

2/2 not recommended to use personal anti grav devices, as replacement limbs unless you have a real good proprioception and movement control.

Otherwise people like individual style as long it doesn't comes with any miss behavior. For a long time Somwhar opposed shoes thanks to her unique paws and claws that allow them to climb extremely well. Nowadays the more city living Somwhar have their own collections of shoes and even tail covers, traditionalist Somwhar stil deems them impractical but we talking about an alien species that lives on giant trees on their homeworld.

Asza'ni and Trellwa'ni share most styles since the Trellwa'ni absolutely assimilated everything Asza'ni into their society completely overwriting their previous views, despite that the Trellwa'ni won the war between the two species they even adopted the langua and philosophy.

"Thank you Ash. I'm honestly don't prefer it that much, it's just convenient, see back in your days," she points with her free hand on to us Authors, while still chewing on the pumpkin pie. "People lived unhealthy on coffee alone, according to their statements, imagine drinking one coffee a day and getting all the nutrients you need, the other part is im just lazy, even if this is a concept that doesn't seem to exist in reality, and prefer checking the ship/crew data in that time." She smiles at us after finishing the pie the moment she is done explaining.

Kira: The smell of apples and onions roasted in a pan, until the onions are clear and soft and the apple pieces are slightly mushy, then served with some vanilla ice. Cinnamon and some citrus fruit hangs in the air. Someone lighting up the fire place, the soft cracks of the flames consuming the wood, some honey toast bites with the honey of the neighbors, they are there too, joking with the parents, laughing, having fun.

Anika is their, but she doesn't belongs there, it's to early.
She smiles at Kira giving her some honey toast bites. "Dad said you would probably like them. It's not the same honey, but I made them myself, only for you."

They where the best honey bites in a long time.
Anika smiled:"Do you like them? I can make you some more if you want to, just give me your hand & follow me."

2/2 Kira was unsure but she grabbed the hand of Anika, she felt a pull, a grip she couldn't escape, but it wasn't unpleasant, it felt soothing, comforting. The time rushed through Kiras head, going faster than usual she stopped at many stations at her life, all a fuzzy, cozy swirl of friendship, no more than this, sisterhood, Anika always helped Kira, she became her big sister even if she was a bit younger.

Than she remembered the days after burning man, how Tanya left her without a trace, food or transportation... Days in the desert on her way back, utilizing everything she knew about survival, and then Anikas voice as they where reunited.
Anika's swearing towards Tanya, threatening her, if she ever find her to punish her harshly...

Just being thankful to see her sister again, to get home.

And than it was the academy time ...

"Do you really believe it's a fight about values? It's about money, revenge. What our friendly voice behind the scheme always tries to keep a secret from me, is that their are plans in motion, plans I am not supposed to know about." 7/11.2024 Do your MC’s values align with the traditions and values of the community they come from?

As soldiers and their War
... Scout ships Artificial Intelligence, they pretty much align. And why not the principals of the Union valuing, respect, care for each other, acceptance of differences and interspecies cooperations, they where formed after all off them suffered one Alien species(?) attack, where able to fend them off & came to the conclusion that no other species should suffer such attacks. The Union does look for peaceful solutions but way to often in history this has been miss used against the people looking for such.

This is why the alliance exist to defend the people that thrive of the core values, to protect that values if necessary and to protect every sentient being from the Eltaryn attacks.
The reason why S.H.A.D.E.'s exist is to make sure that enemies of the system will be dealt with.

Talisa smirked a bit while looking mischievously over to Rose who answered the smirk with her own, the fire in the eyes of both was visible & only a rubber brain wouldn't feel the electricity sparking between the two, the raw power of passion for each other.

AJ clearly a Wombat. You wouldn't mind them looking kinda lost and adorable while the wombating around.
Unless that 35 Kilograms Killerhamster speeds up to 40 Kilometers per hour aiming at your ankles or runs over you with it's tiny stabbing and tearing claws. Mangling whatever is underneath.
Also of this chubby looking fellow with its adorable round look, non of that is fat. To put it nicely AJ's weight is above 35 Kilograms and them aims higher.

No one would mind anything about AJ until they see them in action.

AJ wouldn't be an animal. Just a beeping box, nothing suspicious about a beeping box right?

What all of them have in common?
Intelligence, social and personal, move excellent in their environment and are highly adaptive to their surroundings and what is needed to survive.

12.11.2024 Why did you originally start writing? Has it changed?

I guess there are as many reasons for me as words in the languages I speak.

I love exploring alternative storylines the path not taken or to mix and craft something new. Something I really like about kitbashing in modellkit building is to take existing parts and arrange them into something new, l later learned that people do it with story's too. Fanfiction, alternate Universes of what could have happened.

Also writing allows me to remember details I would otherwise loose or to elaborate thoughts differently.

I love reading and writing is the first step for reading, because you can only read what someone else or you have/has written.

I love Roleplay games and writing stories for the had always been fun.

And it has kinda changed why I write.

13.11.2024 You just got a legit movie offer for your book. What do you do first?

Make sure I own a veto to all creative decisions, the majority of the Merchandise income.

If a deal can be struck.
Don't get me wrong I like series and movies but Hollywood and similar professional movie/TV makers fostered a not very healthy environment. And as much as I hate doing red tape stuff I would make sure that I own the rights to the produced material, spin offs, merchandise etc especially making sure no giant company gets more than the bare minimum they need.
Set up my ethical work conditions list, (no crunch at any point, no days longer than 9 hours including make-up, paid sick days, healthcare extras, the diversity clause, etc).

Than setting up my tips for visualization (or more clearly clean them up), hand them to the prop makers and the costume department.

14.11.2024 Were there any other names you considered for your MC?

Kira still has her original Shepherd Name Joan as a middle name resulting from my first playthrough and being a mass effect fanfiction first. I may get rid of it.

Abbishek "Arkham" Pakti has her Nickname for all the right and wrong reasons.

Basically every name on Board has a meaning that connects it to another "well" hidden Easteregg.

It's hard to come up with Alien names that's one reason that aliens only a third range of characters in my story* so far.

I like the name Yasmine and have a faible for names that end on an a sound for me they are a strong indication for beautiful sounding and often meaningful Names.
Most names with an A ending are also female associated (I liked the names with A before I felt attracted to anyone) that doesn't mean that there aren't other beautiful sounding names without an A in the end.

15.11.2024 How would your story change if you had to use another MC?

Not sure, because as I mentioned before November isn't very kind to my creative side and I am more likely to hibernate than getting anything on paper at this point. I even struggle with keeping up with the prompts. That is why next to the unregular Phantastik Prompts I dropped the engendered writing ones because they make it somehow even harder for me, despite the fact that I support the effort and see them as important. So at this point I guess I could completely change the MC because what isn't written doesn't needs to be rewritten. Maybe i should just try it.

16.11.2024 Has anything ever deterred you from writing what you want to write?

A lot including self censorship, because I sometimes really don't like certain character traits of me showing up, basically speaking I have a very unfriendly side that has to do with people and unethical behavior. Another "bad" trait of my is my sexism against man I have to keep in check because not all man are evil and not all women are angels. My brain likes to paint stuff black and white which is simply spoken not how reality or people work, I am not a judge or free of mistakes so I shouldn't judge to loudly but if I would write what I sometimes think about certain "humans" I guess I would only fuel the fires more
Depression regularly.
Stress.
And I am bad in keeping to one thing I'm constantly cycling between ideas, Hobbys etc and my mind tends to wander in a lot of directions i didn't see coming.

Also I don't want to deliver any ideas for future real dystopias...

17.11.2024 Who is your MC most grateful for?

Kira is very grateful for the people in her life gone or still around. Even the ice lady her mom. After all she did her best to raise her and sister Anika after her Father went MIA.

For her father, Anika, Arkham, Rose, Talisa, Jay, for her crew even the newest addition Mondira. For Dr. Waberi and Dr.Kaiden. For XO Jenkins and Troika, for her first family that traveled the Union space with her, her bigger sister, her little sister, her mum, her dad.
Kira had more losses than most others in her live for this she values every person that crossed her path for what she brought her.
Even Tanya despite being a red flag and her hated ex after what she had done... Without her Kira wouldn't known so early that she can survive on her own.
Ash is a person she can't imagine being without anymore. I guess that is what happens if you merge with an AI.

Who is a difficult question in that case AJ doesn't work well with others they is constantly working on their own and rarely speaks to anyone other than AI and well AJ knows that AI has its own goals and that they is only "a piece" in it. Despite their memory problems.

Still they remember Kiara and as long they does it's always a moment for AJ in which they feel happy and relaxed until her last moment enters their mind...

Than AJ is grateful for their change of avenging their wife.

19.11.2024 Were there any other inciting incidents for your MC that you considered?

I am not very kind to my MC's, regardless of surroundings or systems. I have a cannibal in Fallout 76 which's backstory is somewhere between Harley Quinn and Jynx + forced cannibalism.

My Namesake Character is heavily Traumatized in Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 thanks to bring cyborgified.

My Range of DND characters has a lot of troubles. Born Werebear meets Hulk, former Drow mistress now hides above ground working as a adventurer, Pyromaniac Tiefling Druid of wildfire, a rouge former priestess & princess, my mc's in Star Ryde all have family issues to a degree that I have to ask myself: "Am I compensating something?"
And Kira seems to have the Midas touch of death.
So I would say yes but better don't ask what.

20.11.2024 Your MC can only take one thing on a trip. What would that be.

Kira her Holo, communication device and "future swiss army knive" of the 23. century.
Radiation powered by heat, light or whatever you can find that radiates something. Able to send and receive video calls, messages, tap into local network, or being used as a plasma cutter on lowest energy levels it can slice a bread or a piece of wood on higher levels it can meld metals but it isn't recommended to use it like this because it tends to burn out of used to cut things like metal. It also can be used as a heat source but this also can shorten its life span drastically.

If I wanted to cheat I declare the Ghoz'Tarc an object, well basically it is an object but taking "your" spaceship really bends the idea of this question to it's limits I guess.

21.11.2024 Would your MC be a good or bad upstairs neighbor?

Kira, accidentally bad, she never lived for rent or in an apartment complex, so it would take some time til she gets her louder habits under control, other than that, she isn't at home for month in a row, which why her neighbors care for her inherented house. So pretty good actually if your like it quite with some training sounds every now and than. If she is around she also doesn't hesitates to help if a hand is needed.

Arkham similar but she has very loud phases if she is at home and mostly sticks to herself, leaving only to shop or for appointments, rarely for anything else.

Ashlei depends on the part, herI cores, bit power hungry, could lead to short-circuits but otherwise pretty silent maybe a bit isolated... Her body, the Ghoz'Tarc, well let's hope you live under an Airport, otherwise the upper floor may collapse, very nasty.

Probably good for the same reasons as Kira, as long you are not on the opposite of AJ's goals you don't have to fear anything. From time to time it could get louder if AJ has a breakdown because of their fading memory.

AI, Antagonist Infernale would be the type one day someone moved in you never saw anything more than that, some weird noises if the house is quite...
