While I was at it, I emailed Sarah McBride, even thought she's not my rep, to state my support for her. I also said that I support her statement about declining to engage with Mace & Johnson's bullying in favor of doing the work she came to Washington to do. I know Congresswoman McBride has been taking some flack for not directly standing up to this flagrant trans hate; but that's not her job.
It's our job.

Scott Gurvey@annaleen I agree this is a proposed law that should not pass. But to clarify, it would apply only to the DC airports. Other airports are run by states and cities and the federal government has no jurisdiction over them.
