Linus Torvalds once said ChromeOS was probably the nearest win for the Linux desktop. Now, Google plans to migrate Chrome OS fully over to Android. The reason for this shift is to better compete with the iPad and also make more effective use of development resources. Is ChromeOS as good as dead now?
