The People's Palace on Glasgow Green. Designed in a Renaissance style by Alexander B. McDonald, it was built in the 1890s as a museum and winter gardens. It's decorated with sculptures by William Kellock Brown representing shipbuilding, mathematics, sculpture, painting, enginèring, the textile industry, science, the arts and, at the very top holding a bronze torch, progress.
