Oh man this rings very true. The numbers that say the economy is going great, are not reflecting the lives of the working classes.

Just ask all the folks laid off in the #tech and #gamedev sectors. Their old employers are doing great - stock prices go up after layoffs.

Any party saying the economy is going great - isn't looking at the economic reality of people on the ground.

The economy of extracting wealth from the masses and channeling it up towards the top.
Most people getting poorer is not a defect, that's the system working as intended.

Stock profits are inversely related to market competitiveness and lots of jobs providing a good salary and benefits. That's the class divide, people more concerned about their portfolio vs their job prospects. Cheap shit comes at a cost borne by others. #economics
