Improbably Optimistic Hot Take: I suppose one way to finally teach people how government works is to make huge portions of it suddenly stop working.
@SethRudy Sadly, the effect is isolated. The rich don’t depend quite so directly on specific government services. Bridge collapse? Drive around. Air traffic failure? Don’t fly to that airport. Sewer failure? Move to one of your other houses.
@slott56 @SethRudy I wonder, though, about the RFK jr appointment. How long does it take for vaccination rates to plummet so low that this becomes an emergency? Note too that there may be travel restrictions for US citizens, including rich ones.

#RFKJr will first attack the theory of herd immunity.

Remember, a theory is a scientific construct that infallibly predicts an outcome. Show a contrary example and the theory is rejected or revised.

We'll see a resurgence of diptheria, measles, and likely Covid19.

That will make America great again.

Sure, but it's going to take a while for the effects to be really visible.
In 4 years nearly all under-4s might not be vaccinated against measles, but outbreaks will likely be isolated, because the disease will not spread easily via their older siblings who go to school.
Once you get into the 6-8 year olds, such diseases will spread big time and suddenly people realize there's a crisis.
