Obviously this is a terrible job, but this is also an opportunity to prank DOGE into generating a list of cost-cutting measures that includes every subsidy Elon Musk's companies are using. He is unlikely to recognize any of them.

@evacide I seem to remember Musk asking for employees who were willing to work 80 hour weeks. That's shorty before twitter started breaking frequently
@wtfrank To be fair, Twitter mostly stays up now. Search is fucked and if you need to go deep into the timeline, it breaks, and a bunch of services like Spaces don't work half of the time, but it's not plagued by total outages. It's much easier to run a site after you've lost a significant percentage of your users. So much less work. Whew.
@evacide . I agree they've got on top of the frequent outages but it's just generally broken now. I followed a military historian who posted a series of tweets that relived events of the Falkands War on the ~42nd anniversary of each event. After missing a few weeks I needed to scroll back through his timeline to pick up where I left off. After a while you run into API limit reached errors (because of Musk's hightly successful change to eliminate bots). If he builds cars like he runs twitter..
@wtfrank @evacide He seems to do that. The manuals for how to unlock the rear doors from inside in an emergency point in this direction. (Different for each model, in each case one has to remove carpet or plastic parts to get to a hidden steel cable to unlock the door).
@Habrok42 @evacide That seems quite an involved process for an emergency...
