Obviously this is a terrible job, but this is also an opportunity to prank DOGE into generating a list of cost-cutting measures that includes every subsidy Elon Musk's companies are using. He is unlikely to recognize any of them.

Musk’s DOGE seeks ‘super high-IQ’ staff for unpaid jobs

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s new commission to slash government spending began soliciting applications for staff jobs Thursday.

@evacide Or maybe fake programs and see if he clues in.

Federal Universal Car Kickstarter Yielding Opportunistic Utilarianism

(First letter of each word).

@evacide I seem to remember Musk asking for employees who were willing to work 80 hour weeks. That's shorty before twitter started breaking frequently
@wtfrank To be fair, Twitter mostly stays up now. Search is fucked and if you need to go deep into the timeline, it breaks, and a bunch of services like Spaces don't work half of the time, but it's not plagued by total outages. It's much easier to run a site after you've lost a significant percentage of your users. So much less work. Whew.
@evacide . I agree they've got on top of the frequent outages but it's just generally broken now. I followed a military historian who posted a series of tweets that relived events of the Falkands War on the ~42nd anniversary of each event. After missing a few weeks I needed to scroll back through his timeline to pick up where I left off. After a while you run into API limit reached errors (because of Musk's hightly successful change to eliminate bots). If he builds cars like he runs twitter..
@wtfrank @evacide He seems to do that. The manuals for how to unlock the rear doors from inside in an emergency point in this direction. (Different for each model, in each case one has to remove carpet or plastic parts to get to a hidden steel cable to unlock the door).
@Habrok42 @evacide That seems quite an involved process for an emergency...
Before you continue to YouTube

@evacide I can't think of a worse JD that didn't also start with "pack your rectum with ground glass".
@evacide you can always tell someone has a high iq when they sign up to work 80 weeks with no pay.
@evacide I've got a top 1% iq but I wouldnt work for that cunt even if he did pay

Elon Musk is on record as saying it would hurt competitors more than Tesla.

@evacide You're evil. ;) I find that attractive; likely because I'm broken. Cheers!
@evacide The "super high-IQ" bit is straight from Musk's eugenicist's soul.
@evacide It’s gonna be so funny when they get spammed by all the bots they didn’t deal with.
@evacide “We need super high-IQ small-government revolutionaries willing to work 80+ hours per week on unglamorous cost-cutting” lol...
@evacide I think if they take an unpaid job, they are by definition NOT high-IQ.
@evacide presumably this side-steps the fit-to-employ tests (are you a foreign agent?) required for an actual government job
@evacide Stop sending billions of government dollars to a man that already has more billions of dollars than anyone else in the known universe would seem to be an obvious cost-cutting measure.

@evacide Richest man in world seeks free labor

I'm sorry, kiss my what?

Anyone who takes that job by virtue of taking the job is not so bright ... unless they are taking it under your suggestion here, which I fully endorse.

@evacide @misfir3

The rich do not become rich by returning to employees the value of their labor.

@evacide I'm thinking if I put some effort into the application, I could probably get an interview for this job. Would be fascinating to record and post that encounter.
@evacide this may be a silly question but if the pay is zero why do they need so few employees working crazy hours?
Elon Musk met with Iran’s UN envoy, NYT reports

Elon Musk, the world’s wealthiest person and advisor to President-elect Donald Trump, met with Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations on Monday, where they discussed how to defuse tensions between the United States and Iran, the New York Times reported, citing two Iranian officials.

CNN
@evacide yassss. This shit show is gonna eat its self so fast lol
@evacide always worth noting at these moments that IQ is founded on scientific racism, and that the founder of the most high profile association of individuals with high IQ test scores severed all ties with it after declaring it had become a place for people to sit around "mentally masturbating" about how smart they were instead of solving any actual fucking problems

@evacide
But they will be paid.

I think this is another lobby and bribe/extortion scheme: Companies with lucrative government contracts will send paid employees to be part of this agency to ensure influence on its decisions. And, having a large advertising budget on Xitter will definitely not hurt either…
