Republicans in Congress will do nothing to stop this. I really hope the military leadership has ways to fight back against politicization of the military.
Elon the #oligarch will be happy to fund those stipends. Elon likes playing Marcus Crassus to Trump’s Caesar, bankrolling the campaign to destroy the republic, so that would be very much in character.
