Space policy is about to get pretty wild, y’all

Saddle up, space cowboys. It may get bumpy for a while.

@arstechnica you mean, spacex becomes the sole supplier to NASA?
@arstechnica lol of all the things I'm worried about, anything spaced based is dead last. In fact I could probably find a few other things to worry about that are more critical than this being dead last. Ukraine support anyone?
I'm a big space fan, but in the wake of the elections. What is about to happen to the federal government is going to impact every person in this country, and not for the better. I fully expect my medical costs to go up 30%, and my family has a history of cancer so 50/50 chance of being dropped by my provider when I hit 50 in the next couple years. Never mind the fact that Musk and RFK are about to play spin the bottle on what batshit crazy crap they are going to do.
@arstechnica I think you mean nice for billionaire investors.
@arstechnica Problem is that Musk will recommend firing everyone who is doing real work in favor of people willing to suck off Trump. He'll make this recommendation after doing zero research, and then he'll go back to playing Diablo IV and smoking weed.

@arstechnica I predict the Trump / Musk bromance will last 2-3 Scaramuccis, (4-6 weeks) tops. Trump insists on yes-men, Musk is outspoken.

All it will take is Musk making a vaguely disparaging public remark, or telling Trump "No that's stupid, you need to do it this way" to his face, and he's fired.

@arstechnica Neocon fascist piece of shit...

@arstechnica

Governor Greg Abbott is very bullish on space, technology and chip manufacturing in Texas. Texas is THE business friendly state. I do not dispute that. Most natives don't.
