“Many Americans continue to believe that the CEOs of the nation’s largest companies are largely Donald Trump supporters—but nothing could be further from the truth.“

We led some of America’s largest companies. Here’s why we are voting for Harris, not Trump

'We fear a second Trump term would be bad for business and the U.S. economy.'

"Some of the confusion may arise from the simple fact that sitting CEOs generally cannot speak out publicly as they fear alienating their employees and customers and provoking a Trump retaliation. These negatives clearly outweigh the small upside that any one voice might provide [...]"

= Profit > demokratisches System

Und das "small upside that any one voice might provide" könnte bei dieser knappen Wahl genau das Zünglein an der Wage sein, das demokratische (pun intended) Kräfte benötigen.

@anneroth Bullshit. Andrew Ross Sorkin names them on a daily basis.
Do you really think I’m going to believe anything written by a business magazine about CEO’s being as pure as the driven snow?

After a decade of gaslighting?

@anneroth Would've been nice if they'd spoken up louder and earlier!

@anneroth - Interesting, but actions will speak louder than words at this point.

CEOs can afford to put something on the line. If they want to be seen as having a moral backbone, then they're fully empowered at all times to do it.

@anneroth Scum attracts other scum.
