Working in a fast food restaurant requires, punctuality, good social skills, the ability to be calm under pressure, and some parts of the job are dangerous. Is he really qualified? Also, I don't think most franchises will hire those with a felony. Which isn't always fair IMO, but if someone has a history of stealing from work possibly justified.
I'm not being one bit sarcastic. I am, as they youth say "deadass"

As reporters and aides watched, an employee showed Trump how to dunk baskets of fries in oil, salt the fries and put them into boxes using a scoop. Trump, a well-known fan of fast food and a notorious germophobe, expressed amazement that he didn't have to touch the fries with his hands.

I'm quite certain that McDonalds skirted health regulations by closing down the restaurant for the day, rendering it only accessible to a small and select group of fawning ideologues 'customers', and treating the whole event as a private, personal meal on Mr. Trump's dime.
Since Mr. Trump is not presently a twitching pile of body parts (at least, more than usual), he was also clearly kept from the milkshake machine.
I wouldn't want to be the person sanitizing the whole restaurant afterwards in any event.
McDonald’s might hire him, but may decline based on his reported hamberder habit. He’d really cut into the franchisee’s profits.
