Last night, I sat down to work on my late mother-in-law’s bumblebee/honey bee quilt. The blocks she made were wonky on purpose and I could not even contemplate cutting wonky strips. I stacked up all the fabric, sorted into piles: her fabric - must use, my fabric I- goes well with hers, or my fabric - doesn’t fit wrong value/hue/color.
