Folks who have contributed to #rstats core:

i've added a diff to my bug report, what happens next? This is a fairly critical fix for the  +   story.

Hoping to get it merged into trunk before they publish 4.4.2

@josi Since the patch is there, I'd ping some core team members and ask them to review, then push if they feel comfortable. Maechler is very nice...

@nzgwynn how do you recommend doing that? the r-devel mailing list?

@josi @nzgwynn I think they are recommending emailing Maechler or another friendly R-core member directly (email address should be available I'm sure) and ask for a review, rather than taking a chance of who knows who seeing an email to general r-devel.

When do they stop accepting patches for the next version? You could email all of r-devel if you have a few weeks, but a week out, I'd start sending it to friendlies for more immediate support. Hope this helps!
