In New Zealand, our relationship with apostrophes is similar to our relationship with car indicators.
We know we need to use them, we're just not sure how and when. But we're keen!

@essjax I find the grammar fail less less troubling than the historical insensitivity. Naming a restaurant chain in the Waikato after a symbol of #NZWars oppression shows not only ignorance of grammar, but also of #NZHistory.

@stephenharlow I mean, this is a great point well made. I had similar thoughts.

I wasn't really upset about the apostrophe; it just makes me chuckle, hence the lightweight toot.
