Finally got to play a "game" of #FourAgainstDarkness on my graph paper notebook, it was fun! It took me around 2 hours to finish this dungeon, having the room generation rolls in the middle of the book and the rolls for what happens after entering the rooms in the back is very impractical, I wasted some time flipping pages but what are you gonna do. I didn't make too many mistakes either this time, although I rolled on the vermin table instead of the minions one a couple of times, oops.

#TTRPG

Did I mentioned how much fun I had with this game? Good, now it's whining time ✨

I ran into a lady in white, she told me to bring her a boss, alive. The book says to defeat a boss without killing it I have to 1) cast sleep, or 2) fight at -1 for attack rolls, since the final boss was a mummy I couldn't use spells against it so I went with the -1 rolls, NOW, does that mean everyone attacks at -1 or you apply any modifiers you have and then subtract 1? Thanks for being so unambiguous rule book!

Another undocumented scenario that I ran into: Johanna, my wizard is dying and I have to get out of the dungeon, what do I do? Simple, I cast escape, now she's safe at the entrance of the dungeon and I can go room by room with the rest of the party, NOW, what would you know? When I reenter the first room with the rest of the party I run into wandering monsters, does my wizard joins the battle? Does it even make sense to be ambushed if there's a character in that room? I guess we'll never know.
@maxalmonte14 it's a solo game, right? if the rules are unclear just go with whatever makes sense to you and don't stress too much about it, as long as you're having fun
@COMPU73E it is a solo game indeed, although you can play with other people or even as a GM. What I've been doing so far is following "the most logical course of action" — according to myself — when in doubt, but I'm obsessive by nature, I'll always appreciate having detailed instructions, LOL. I guess the main problem is the author decided to focus on brevity instead of detail, the book is under 100 pages, and after multiple revisions some stuff have become confusing.
