This collective week of action brings the amazing work across the country together in a unified set of educational and community building efforts. We’re thrilled to invite you to the 2024 Denver Guaranteed Income Rally! This is a critical moment for our city as we push for bold, compassionate action that puts dignity and financial security at the heart of our community’s future. Date: Wednesday, September 18, 2024 Time: 11:30 AM-1:30 PM Location: West steps of the Colorado State Capitol, 200 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80203 Denver is already a leader in the guaranteed income movement, with a groundbreaking program that’s transforming the lives of hundreds of our unhoused neighbors. But we can’t stop now. We’re gathering to urge city leaders to invest $15 million in the 2025 budget to support:   $5 million for Year 3 of the current Denver Basic Income Project cohort.   $10 million to fund a new cohort of 300 unhoused individuals for the next 3 years. This rally is about more than funding—it’s about building momentum for guaranteed income as a proven solution for homelessness, poverty, and inequality. Together, we’ll showcase the human-centered approaches that make Denver a national leader in tackling these complex social challenges.
