@mancavgeek First sight thought it was GWR colours from their Scilly flights. A friend of mine back in the 40s had her honeymoon on the Isle of Wight and was flown there in a Rapide

Good grief - that thing must be the size of a WWII medium bomber!
A Wellington, or something like that!
According to Wikipedia, this is 8 feet shorter than a Wimpy, but 3 feet longer than a Handley-Page Hampden, another British medium bomber.
I've done it again - posted today photos instead of yesterday's!
