"Maybe more shooter drills on golf courses would help?"
"Were the 10 commandments displayed at the course?"

@augieray I wish parents had to come and participate in our shooter/lockdown drills to hear the uncomfortable questions and comments our kids make.
“Can’t they just shoot through the door?”
“Wouldn’t they just shoot out the window and come through?”
“But the knife drawer in the staff lounge is locked. What if no teachers are there with a key?”
“I don’t trust those door stop things. Why don’t the doors have real locks?”
“If this really happens, I’ll just distract them so everyone can run out.”
People really don’t know what these drills are like to go through until they experience it firsthand.
I'm in Canada and I was annoyed enough that my kids have to do a lock down drill (it's nothing like an active shooter drill from what I understand).
At least once a year, they do lockdown a school here though (hasn't happened to ours) because of something or other so I get why they do it, but it's scary enough.
My mind can't even comprehend what a regular shooter drill does to a child, even if a shooting doesn't happen at their school.
@augieray Turn the bunkers on the course into machine-gun nests… By 2A fanatic standards, it is because golf courses aren’t fortified that they are targeted by gun “enthusiasts”.
Speaking of 10 commandments - I think every gun should be inscribed with the one about not killing, right there where it can’t be missed ;^)
@augieray I've seen someone on social media suggest that a Democratic congressperson should put forth a "Protect Donald Trump" firearm bill to see if the GQP will support it or decide his life isn't important enough.
I humbly propose someone draft the Targeted Republicans by Unhealthy Malicious Predators Act.
