This update also has:

- A bugfix that could've lost listening progress when switching to/from AirPlay.

- A new setting under Nitpicky Details that lets you change the mode from AirPlay 2 to original AirPlay, which fixed issues with some people's AirPlay setups in beta testing.

I'm still tracking AirPlay bug reports — that setting shouldn't be necessary, but it feels like AirPlay has changed a lot, especially in iOS 18, and I’m still working toward a universal fix.

@overcastfm, my playlist has begun over-enforcing episode limits. It used to be that if an episode had been played, even for a few seconds, or if it had been manually downloaded, it wouldn't delete until played in full. I just had a whole bunch of podcasts delete all but two episodes...sometimes maybe a couple more. I noticed this before updating to today's 2024.9, but it's weird the behavior changed without an app update...and I'm hoping this new behavior isn't a new issue!
@Minsc13 @overcastfm yeah, I used that strategy to “safe” podcasts I wanted to keep. After installing I was first happy, that the episode limits got reimplemented. But I would have hoped, that the feature worked like in the past. Well, I lost some podcasts for ever.
@Touri @overcastfm, I haven't lost any of those yet (though I do the same thing), because I wasn't subscribed to any and they had no limit set...so AFAIK I'm safe from that. Sorry about your list though...I sure don't want to lose *my* "saved for later" stuff!
