outsidecontext 🇺🇦🕊️This is an adult male Orchid Mantis (Hymenopus coronatus), sitting on a (fake) orchid waiting for prey. Like most male mantises he is easily scared, when I opened the enclosure for feeding he tried to get as close to the flower as possible. I took the rare chance to get a nice picture, this type of mantis is just absolutely beautiful.
