Sommer PanageI was today years old when I learned that (on macOS) single-click-and-drag will use character granularity for selection whereas DOUBLE-click-and-drag will use word granularity for selection!
Greg Gardner@sommer @frederik I believe this is borrowed from the X Window System from the Unix days, and its true origin may even predate that. I've been double click dragging to select text since the early 1990s in xterms.
