@a1ba I remember seeing this pattern in Radiant, which is primarily for Quake maps, so, I'd say Quake, and will hazard a guess it's Q1.

@k @a1ba Quake always gives me white and black checkerboard when I test my maps without textures. Maybe that's a modern source port thing tho.
