I’m realizing how limited & shitty Adobe Acrobat is in a personal capacity. Any recommendations for a #FOSS #PDF editor? I mainly use it to read & occasionally edit (e.g. remove pages, fill & sign forms, etc.).

I’m currently annotating lecture notes on my iPad w/ Apple Pencil via #OneDrive & that is working pretty well. I just need something to help with the minor editing side.

Free or at most 1-time fee recs greatly appreciated, bc if I have to pay 1 more subscription fee I’m gonna lose it.

@VTDARKSIM Mozilla Firefox now allows you to edit PDFs in-browser! I've found that very useful because I'm already using Firefox but it may be a bit much to install JUST to edit PDFs.

@jenson42 oh reaaaallllly. I use Firefox nowadays so that’ll be helpful, though I don’t see a way to delete/remove pages so it won’t entirely scratch that itch.

@VTDARKSIM If you're on a Mac, Preview will do all of that for free.

@cortig unfortunately I need something on a Win11 machine for school. I have a 12yo Mac Mini but I recently converted it to #Linux. Unfortunately that didn’t meet the tech specs required by my program so I’ve gotta go Windows
