In Barcelona, I would’ve called a free cleaning service from the city hall to pick up the old TV for proper recycling. Isn’t there a similar option in London?

And what about the other two TVs? 😵‍💫 Why so many? Asking without judging 👀

@marinaaisa There’s no free cleaning service. I could’ve paid the council to come and take the old TV away (https://hackney.gov.uk/bulky-waste) but that’s more expensive than renting a car for an hour to take it to the recycling centre myself. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@tom I should like to address points 1. and 2.

1. I discovered a mostly empty 10 year-old jar of Marmite in a cupboard this week and had some of it on toast. It was divine. Check back in another 10 years for the next instalment
2. I can't see myself needing LTE but my watch has it so should I get it? I expect I'd feel similar about the phone and I thought I'd start running but I did one run before deciding I was definitely a cyclist

@rgarner A solitary jar of Marmite (jarmite™) cost me over three British pounds at the supermarket so you’ve effectively made a profit from your long-term investment in Marmite futures. On the watch it’s too soon to say; I’ll report back if I end up going further than the end of the road.
