#ElonMusk is posting information to portray both Mastodon and Instagram as child pornography sites.

These two social networks are X competitors, and Musk is using his own social network to misrepresent his competitors to 196 million followers.

Imagine if 196 million Volkswagen drivers received multiple messages on their car stereo from the CEO of Volkswagen that other car brands were "child porn car brands".

I doubt European competition laws would allow that.

@randahl and it's just complete nonsense. Instagram doesn't even allow as much as a nipple on their platform. And Mastodon/the fediverse has a lot of moderation. If a local instance allows such things, they'll make sure it won't be visible to the rest.

@karelbrits
It is deliberate nonsense, as it's the basics of never playing defence and controlling the conversation.

Jenna Ortega says she deleted Twitter after seeing explicit AI images of herself as a minor

Jenna Ortega said she deleted X after a "terrifying" experience encountering AI-generated pornographic images of herself on the platform when she was a minor.

NBC News
@karelbrits @randahl I figured Elon’s tweet was prompted by a news story about child pornography on Twitter, and here it is, AI generated to boot.
