Retoot if you agree the US needs to stop arming Netanyahu to bomb Palestinian civilians.

I want to follow as many people as I can who share this belief in basic human decency and international rule of law. We must stand united for justice and on the right side of history.

I wrote about this issue here: https://www.qasimrashid.com/p/breaking-biden-sent-netanyahu-35b

BREAKING: Biden Sent Netanyahu $3.5B in Arms—Today He Killed 100 More Palestinians

Legacy media and the American people must hold Biden accountable to his words—and VP Kamala Harris can lead the way

Let's Address This with Qasim Rashid

@QasimRashid

Hamas only accepted what Bibi obviously would not. That's how negotiations work, especially when neither party has any intention to abandon their goals.

And pro-Palestinian activists are only going to lose public support and radicalize more people into antisemites or even Hamas supporters because of false hope and anger if they insist on such misinformed realities and unworkable demands.

Mass sanctions against settlers are already a far-away goal but still within sight.

@QasimRashid @oldguycrusty I would be for restrictions on bombs sent to #israel regarding using them harming civilians. They can do that in #ukraine, why not in Israël.
Not sending them at all would amount to #genocide against #Jews by letting #hamas, #Iran and #hezbolla terroristic regimes attack #israel
And we are not for genocide on either side I hope.
@QasimRashid not just the US but UK & Germany should stop arming the genocidal regime
@QasimRashid
And stop arming anyone who wages war on those the US doesn't like.
This has gone wrong so many times.
Remember Reagan & Bin Laden et al. on the lawns of the White House, hugging?
A decade later, he wasn't serving their needs anymore. On the contrary.
Eqbal Ahmad wrote about this decades ago (Terrorism: Theirs and Ours).
A long history of destroying nations because they don't agree with US imperialism.
How will K Harris be any different (IF she gets in)?

@QasimRashid NB - No EU politician needs approval from an Israeli caucus. Ireland and Spain seek ‘urgent review’ of Israel trade over EU deal’s human rights obligations

Ireland and Spain seek ‘urgent review’ of Israel trade over EU deal’s human rights obligations

Varadkar and Spanish PM Sanchez ask for ‘appropriate measures’ to be taken if conditions of agreement have been broken

The Irish Times
@QasimRashid Novel idea: How about we end the concept of war?

People in their mom's basement judging POTUS on handling of Israel don't have a fucking clue about world politics. Hold your whining until after this election. Too much is at stake to fumble this election over a war on foreign soil. Dumb fucks.

@QasimRashid Americans are largely uninformed and morally indifferent to the suffering and genocide being inflicted upon the Palestinian people. I am disgusted by the MIC, Zionist rage, political corruption, corporate owned media and the sorry state of American politics generally. I can’t wrap my head around what we’ve become. I scream into the void.
@QasimRashid Rest assured, Trump, if elected or by coup, will send a multiple of that ...

@josyb and a Palestinian struggling to survive *right now* is supposed to do what exactly with that information?

@QasimRashid

@urlyman @QasimRashid Unfortunately nothing more as with the information of the original post.
IMHO the issue is not stopping the US delivering weapons, but to stop the war. Which is a massive complex problem.

@josyb it is a massive complex problem. One that goes to the very heart of the intersection of US energy policy and its notions of ‘security’. I don’t think we create lasting solutions without confronting that

@QasimRashid

@QasimRashid
I agree with you. And I fail to understand how Blinken can help resolve the conflict when his country makes it all the more possible…

@QasimRashid
It's unfortunate that you still publish on a platform that publicly defends #nazis, and even PAYS THEM to create hate.

Why are you part of that ecosystem when you don't have to be? There are many turn-key solutions - you could be out of the nazi bar and onto #ghost or any number of alternatives.

If you eventually move off of the racist-enabling #substack, I'll be one of the first to sign up.

Cheers!

@QasimRashid Peace in the mid-east requires the total elimination of Hamas, and the total elimination of the Netenyahu government.

Both actively stand in the way of peace.

(Edit: Non-violent means strongly preferred in both cases.)

@QasimRashid
Netanyahu is scheming sthg (in cahoots with Trump) to thwart the peace process till (he hopes) Trump is elected. They both know they have to hang on bc if they are ousted they both face jail.
Shame Iran also wants the peace process thwarted too and is supporting Hamas/Hezbollah to make attacks. With Putin complicit and rubbing his hands in the wings.
Civilians caught in the middle.
Of course
As always
Mens ways of "sorting out issues" failing again and again.
@QasimRashid I would like two things to happen. This and the other side to release the hostages and stop saying they will keep doing this until Israel doesn’t exist. Please yell as loudly about both. You seem to expect only one side to act like adults.
@QasimRashid these were just "defensive" weapons though.......
@QasimRashid
When have the Islamic nations surrounding and in the region of Israel pursued comprehensive and lasting peace with Israel? Just curious.

@selje @QasimRashid

Is that relevant? Does the behaviour of neighbouring countries justify the slaughter of civilians?

@mcv @QasimRashid
That is a good question. If you disarm Israel then what? When you look at the history of that region of the world they have been slaughtering each other for thousands of years before Christ was born to the present day.
So again if you disarm Israel then what happens? I am not justifying anything, just asking a question. Are you afraid to consider the question because I can assure you that is what others, particularly those in power, are and must consider.

@selje @QasimRashid

Disarming Israel sounds like a really bad idea and also impossible, but sending more bombs is also a bad idea and makes you complicit.

@selje @QasimRashid
When Israel have pursued comprehensive and lasting peace with it's neighbors?

@lxbrito @QasimRashid
Thank you for the link I will watch the documentary. Perhaps this will answer my original question. There will be no peace in the middle east until the people collectively stop going down the path of hatred and divisiveness, or until they annihilate one another and possibly take the rest of the world with them. Violence isn't the answer. Biden brought us out of the Darkness of DJT. But he is the old guard. Give Harris a chance. Leave hate at the door. Its not welcome here
