Feeling kind of uninspired in the last few days. I'd probably have skipped today (and yesterday), if it wasn't for the 366 project. I'll be off work for two weeks, and have all these ideas, what to do during this time, but I guess I need to unwind for a bit first. We'll be visiting my parents next week, which I am very looking forward to. Plus having a change of scenery is always good for inspiration.

Walked past the flea market today. With kids this is dangerous territory, because they always find some toy they really like, and how can you say no to something that's just a Euro. But then again, that's one more toy lying around in the house. I am looking forward to the day, they themselves are ready to sell off their old stuff and I can go back to a more minimalistic life style. (I am well aware that this might never happen as long as we live under the same roof…)

Slow day, lots audio drama listening going on. Ulya has been sick in bed for three days now. I held down the fort, but I can feel it coming. First symptoms started a couple of hours ago, and it develops exactly like with her three days ago. Better prepare some emergency images to post in the coming days, as I probably won't be able to make any. 😩

I finally made it out of the house for the sole purpose of taking photographs! What made it even better was that I met up with my friend Daniel. We went to Duisburg, where the Ironman event was happening. We arrived about midday, just in time for the running part of the triathlon. It was incredibly hot, so the shower stations were quite popular with the runners, which – in turn – made for some quite spectacular images.

Today I finally managed to get some creative work done for myself! I finished the layout of the first of four zines, containing all of the images of the currently running 366 project. I decided to go with one „issue“ per quarter, as I would never fit all of the images into one book (it's just too many). I also love the magazine format, so this will also be a lot cheaper to produce. Not sure if anyone other than me would be interested in owning a copy, but if so, let me know. Blurb shipping is always ridiculously expensive, so ordering in bulk could help with that. And I also would be able to sign your copy. 😉

Had a quick look at Parkleuchten earlier. It was raining, so it was as quiet as I have ever seen Gruga during this time. (Last year was packed!) Unobstructed views of most of the installations. 🙌 I'll try to go back tomorrow with the kids. Technical side note: The image stabilization capabilities of the X-T5 are amazing.

Ich hatte auch mal an eine Art „Best of“ gedacht aber eigentlich ist die Sache mit dem täglichen Foto ja auch das spannende. Mal schauen. Bin gespannt auf dein Ergebnis.
@oliverbrux Ja, solche Überlegungen hatte ich auch. Wollte aber schon gerne alle Bilder drin haben (und nicht grade 10 Stück auf einer einzelnen Seite). Dass es dann doch auch mal mehr als ein Foto pro Tag ist, macht es auch nicht einfacher. 😊
