Imagine being a reporter at the “paper of record” and writing with a straight face that a “large swath of the public” gave a flying fuck through a rolling donut about Obama’s tan suit. And then quoting Lou Dobbs.

Pelosi walked into a state dinner after holding the gavel for over a year and accomplishing the impossible, and they commented on her dress only. All the men were addressed by title, state, and any known accomplishments. They addressed her as “Nancy”

@Catawu @JoshuaHolland Australia's first woman Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, got this treatment, plus she was called "barren" (no children).
I know Gillard and Hillary Clinton have gotten together to compare notes, perhaps Harris would like a chat with Gillard too. She has a great, wry sense of humour.

I did immediately think of Obama when I saw Harris in that suit last night.
I did think that was the intent.
I loved it.

Obama looked great in that suit. 'They' had to attack it, so that he would not wear it again.

Harris looked great last night.

The NYT is useful only for toilet paper.
