My uncle gave me this ghost pepper (bhüt jolokia) he grew. It looks a little short and wrinkly for that breed, but I've certainly seen variation like this in my reaper growing. It didn't produce seeds either...
...so I made some nuclear tofu. 🌶🍛 It's supposed to be 1/2 as spicy as a reaper, but like, what's half of infinity? To be honest the flavour is poor, which I have felt about all super-hot peppers, except for the reaper. 🔥😅 The sweat is from the heat of the stove, I swear.

🌶 A funny thing about having eaten a carolina reaper: there's no more fear of the unknown with chili peppers.

How hot the worst it can be is no mystery. It's more like... do I have room in my schedule for this much spice?

I probably don't wanna mess with capsaicin extract tho.

🌶 Though, with chili peppers, the scoville rating is only the density, not the amount. Anyone can tolerate carolina reaper in the right portion. A bowl of thai chilis might be more capsaicin than 1 reaper if you ate them all. Fast food "ghost pepper chicken" probably has very little.
@rainwarrior I haven't had one before but I did have carolina reaper beef jerky in Texas. Would recommend.
@arjonnyp The carolina reaper has a surprisingly good flavour if you can stand the heat, though it's aroma is potent enough to still be distinctive even when diluted to less insane heats.
