Sorry (not sorry) to interject here but I have a bone to pick with you over the claim that Mario Mendoza is a less-accomplished player.
It seems to me that he holds (or is at least tied; on Baseball-Reference.com I could not find any other players in this category, but am ready to be corrected) the career record in the category of LNA (“Lines” Named After), at 1.000.
Most other players, including the GOAT, Willie Mays and awesome Blue Jays catcher, Alejandro Kirk, have a number no greater than 0.000.
