#WritersCoffeeClub Aug 13 - Would you ever serialize your work?

I had to, the story I wanted to tell was too long for one book. I'm not about to publish that one yet, I want to finish writing it (mostly because I hate when authors release a series and never finish it). If it reaches the shelves as a series of mine, it will be finished. There will be an end, a conclusion, a final book written and edited by yours truly.

@nemorosa You're my kind of people!

@anderlandbooks Good to know I'm not alone!

I am *still* waiting for Doors of Stone (Patrick Rothfuss)! I'm beginning to realise that he will never finish that series, no matter how brilliant the two first books were.

I do not want to end up in his chair.

@nemorosa by now, I refuse to start reading a series that isn't finished.

I'm making an exception for some, though, like @Firlefanz and @jograhamwrites as they don't end on cliffhangers (at least in all I've read of them so far, and plus, it was excellent).

@anderlandbooks I generally avoid unfinished series as well, not every author will have Brandon Sanderson finishing their epic work.

Thank you for adding to my To-Be-Read-List πŸ™‚ #bookstodon #reading
