If you would like to see more posts on specific topics in your timeline, you might want to try following hashtags:

1. Log onto your account
2. Search for a hashtag
3. Click on the tag you want from the suggested tags
4. Click on "Follow" in the top corner

Posts with those tags from people you don't follow will start appearing in your timeline, so this is also a good way of discovering new accounts to follow.
