Dear #MAGA,

Keep telling us that #walz put free tampons in school bathrooms.

Keep telling us that he gave all children free school breakfast/lunch.

Keep bleating about how he mentored his school's gay/straight alliance.

How he was "just a school teacher" and never went to law school.

We know these things. What's more, we like them. Many of us want MORE progressive candidates - many more of us than you can possibly imagine.

We love our children and we love other people's children (scandalous, I know!)

What you call #socialism we call #humanity. We are happy to help feed children - and we think you are weird that you think that's wrong.

So keep telling us how #progressive he is. We like his brand of progress. We'd like even more of it.

To borrow a phrase from our cousins in #Britain (and I really hope they don't mind):

We are many. You are few.
We are #America. Who are you?

@RomanticSkeptic It's only socialism when it helps normal people. If corporations get handouts, that's totally not socialism, somehow. Because they always excuse it with "it'll trickle down later"...

The Programm of #Harris and #Walz is like social-democratic. In Germany we don't say socialism, we say social-democray to it.
Socialism is something different to it.

@RomanticSkeptic Donald Trump never went to law school. His daddy definitely could have afforded to send him and to bribe a school to let him in if he could have gotten anywhere close to the necessary grades and LSAT score to be admitted.

@RomanticSkeptic The Republican Party never understood what socialism really is. First of all, it's a philosophy and inherently not opposed to be embedded in a Democracy. That it weren't democratic in post-war eastern Europe has nothing to do with socialism itself.
Second, what Republicans refer to as "socialism" is actually Social Democracy. A concept where you still have free market liberalism but where the state ensures some basic social standards for all. That's what we have in the EU.

I saw this great post on the other place where someone had screenshot an article where they tried to say that Kamala was a witch and the person who screenshot it said, "I'm already voting for her. You don't need to convince me!" And it really made me laugh. They think that these things are negative because they don't understand us at all.

American Republicans of “yesteryear” (one of my parents included) would be horrified of they were shown today’s MAGA/Republican “program.” In fact, most would reject it as a bad joke.
Sadly, millions of Americans have been virtually brainwashed to believe insane things about Democrats and more liberal fellow citizens. Much of the deliberate damage is due to Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News.
So many folks are permanently *gone*. Can we survive this zombie apocalypse?
