So, I’m back from my #biketooter #mastovelo mini tour of #Finisterre #France.

I had the inside of a week before meeting the family, so, from my home in #Cymru, had an adventure in itself getting to Plymouth (maybe that should be another thread). Once in #Roscoff, I found kilometre zero of #EuroVelo4, and then set off in the opposite direction. My plan was to head west, with the aim of getting to #Quimper, then grabbing a train up to #StMalo. Let’s see how I got on… 1/n

I’m still new-ish to #BikePacking, and I need to get better at balancing distance with just “being”. My instinct is to smash out the km’s, and get to the destination. I’m trying to train myself to stop along the way. It’s hard for me! My inspiration for all this is Tim Travels the Coast, over on the bird site, (which I think that I’ve left now). He seems to do well with stopping along the way. This first day was about 108km, which is too much really. More info in the alt text 2/n
