Spent the last two days making a new board, and just submitted it for fab and PCBA. Hopefully didn’t forget anything. It’s a new drum machine / synthy / MIDI thing for #CircuitPythonDay2024! This one's battery-powered! (hopefully)

Well, finished boards should show up on Weds. I made a little 3d-printable case made for it. It should all be a bit smaller than a deck of playing cards. Not bad for a whole freakin' MIDI drum machine!

The “picotouch_drumcard” boards showed up today! I put some software on it too. A few gotchas in my design but I can make it work. Now on to sample playback, since this is labelled a drum machine after all

@fozztexx It’s random pitches played faster using a square wave oscillator. I think a lot of kids toys sounds like it 🤖

@fozztexx @todbot it reminds me a ton of like, old gameshow noises when they were "randomizing the game board" or something.
