@csstrowbridge @hacks4pancakes my socially conservative mother who hasn't gone to church or voted for a Republican in 20 years still has to stick her nose up and express her disapproval of tattoos when she sees one. Publicly declaring what you disapprove of, for possible social standing, was fundamental to her generation. (sigh)
