@bgrinter I've not, did read "a slip of the keyboard" or whatever it's called).

New to me Pratchett book!! Yayyy!!!

@sideshow_jim This thought occurs to me regularly and it depresses me. I actually just started reading one of his books last night (for the first time in a while) because I miss him and his wonderful writing.

@sentientsponge all things are temporary and all that, but knowing I won't get that experience again of starting one and not knowing where it's going, discovering the jokes, etc.

I think Night watch was the first I brought new (got the earlier ones in a box from my father), and remember starting it while waiting for a train. Nearly missed my stop.

@sideshow_jim I'm reading Snuff, which I hadn't read before and I think was his last book. Not many author deaths have affected me quite like his because he was a genuine nice person who was also a razor sharp wit for societal commentary within a remarkably delightful fantasy world. I really think he was one of the best writers of his time. His singular style will always be missed.
