Operating #ham #portable means to me accepting the challenge to adapt to the surrounding, the weather, the not-so-perfect spot, the difficulties working with less power and so on.

And it also means – besides much more – getting to know nature a bit more, breathing fresh air, having (mostly) a nice view, being content with every single QSO that is established and feeling glad when coming home save and sound.
